What a five-user team pays
Assume five paid users, the published USD rates, no discounts and no taxes or optional services. Annual billing costs $35 per month equivalent, or $420 for twelve months. Paying monthly costs $45 each month, or $540 over twelve unchanged months. The annual option saves $120 under those assumptions. The monthly-equivalent annual figure represents a yearly commitment.
That budget buys the Express feature limits: two support email channels, one ticket workflow rule, customer happiness ratings and dashboards. It does not describe every Zoho Desk capability. A sixth user requires a different edition, and a public knowledge base starts on Standard. Compare the edition table against the required workflow before treating Express as the final price.
Price the edition your service needs
Standard supports public self-service, custom reports and website Business Messaging. Professional adds load-balanced ticket assignment and customer-based SLAs. Enterprise supplies skills-based routing, multi-brand help centers and contract-linked support plans. These distinctions are especially relevant for knowledge-base buyers and teams promising different service levels. Regional price lists differ, so use the applicable currency and edition quote.
Separate assistance from agent usage
Zoho-hosted generative assistance on eligible Professional-and-above accounts lists no extra usage charge; BYOK sends model costs to the external provider. Zia Agents has a separate token model. Its hosted Standard tier includes 30 million tokens monthly, then charges $1 per million. Pro-model allowances and rates differ.
For an illustrative Standard-model month consuming 35 million eligible tokens, 5 million exceed the allowance, producing $5 of token charges before taxes.
