Four agents: normal and triple usage
Assume four agents need 250 human billable conversations and 100 Lyro conversations in a normal month. At peak, both counters triple to 750 human and 300 Lyro conversations. They are separate counters and can overlap when AI hands a case to staff; their sum is not the unique customer-request count.
On monthly billing, Growth250 costs $59 and Lyro100 costs $75. The 750-human peak fits Growth800 at $159; Lyro300 costs $210. Assume Flows stays within its free 100-visitor quota and exclude optional add-ons and taxes.

These are illustrative package calculations, not an automation forecast. Growth also provides the documented Shopify cancellation/refund controls. The first 50 free Lyro conversations are one-off and cannot fund a recurring monthly model.
Handoff and returning customers
The quota guide counts a new thread when Lyro replies; immediate handoff without an AI answer uses no Lyro quota. Later staff handling can also consume a human conversation.
Reopening rules need clarification: that guide says 15 minutes of inactivity closes a thread, while the pricing FAQ says a customer returning later remains one conversation. Include repeat visits in the budget according to the applicable conversation rule.
Control automatic upgrades
Eligible new standard monthly projects default to automatic upgrades at 95% quota. You can disable them, with possible service interruption at the limit. Annual and Plus subscriptions are excluded from that mechanism. Beyond 2,000 human or 1,000 Lyro conversations, request custom terms; Plus starts at $300 monthly plus usage.
